I had to keep it a secret, but Christmas has crept by and now I can start to share.
“Where the Owl Was’ is the album I’ve been making for the past 4 months. Since returning home to Lennox Head from a trit-trot through the USA and Canada, I set my feet home and gave myself a deadline of February to write, rehearse, arrange, record, mix, master and duplicate an album of my music to share and dance to. So here I sit, on the 27th of December with my music in the mixing stages, mastering on it’s way, designing a website and making hand in hand joys to go with my project.
It’s ok if I miss my own deadline. Cause that’s what it is, my own deadline, but just setting one got me on my road.
“Where the Owl Was’ the title, is the place where you can meet someone. Where ever you’ve been, and where ever you’re going, it’s that last place you saw your friend, and somewhere you’ll see them again.
