What is the Spring Sing Workshop Tour?
Last year, with support from MusicNSW, I toured regional NSW in a way that completely changed how I think about touring. Instead of just playing gigs, I ran singing workshops during the day and shared a concert afterwards.
I loved it.
Big tours aren’t really my thing, but travelling to beautiful places, singing with lovely people, and sharing music absolutely is.
So this spring I’m doing it again—this time on my own. I’m heading to places where I have dear friends, podcast listeners, and communities I’d love to sing with.
Spring Sing is simply an invitation to come and experience the joy of singing together. If these workshops are well supported (and you might be able to help with that), I’d love to keep doing them every spring.

SPRING SING WORKSHOP TOUR 2026
I’ll be starting in Lismore, the Derwent Valley in Tasmania, Callala Beach on the NSW South Coast, then back to Bellingen on the North Coast.

SPRING SING LISMORE - SEPT 5TH
The 11am Singing Workshop will focus on vocal techniques and signing in harmony with joy, and then we will move around the accoustic spaces of the Conservatorium to play with sound! I can’t wait!
After an intermission, we will then present a Concert from 2:30pm which will feature songs from the workshop as well as The Midnight Choir presenting the songs from “The Rivers Northern Project”.

SPRING SING + YOGA CALLALA BEACH - OCT 17TH
SPRING SING AND SOUTH COAST SOUL PRESENT A SINGING AND YOGA DAY
Come and spend a beautiful spring morning with us at Callala Beach.
We’ll begin the day with gentle yoga and breathwork led by the wonderful Carla Versitano from South Coast Soul.
Carla Versitano from South Coast Soul offers a grounded, welcoming style of yoga that blends gentle movement, breathwork and somatic practices to help you slow down, settle your nervous system and reconnect with yourself. Her classes are inclusive, restorative and suitable for every body, creating a calm and supportive space where you can breathe deeply, move with ease and simply arrive as you are.
After a light refreshment break, I’ll lead a joyful singing workshop inspired by gospel, soul and songs from around the world. We’ll learn harmonies by ear, explore our voices, and experience the simple magic of singing together in community.
No experience is needed—just bring yourself. Whether you sing all the time or haven’t sung in years, you’ll be warmly welcomed.
Our hope is that you’ll head home feeling relaxed, uplifted, connected, and with a few new songs still ringing in your ears.

We had an absolute blast, and I’ve been looking forward to singing with you all again ever since.
If you’ve ever wanted to sing in harmony, try some gospel grooves, explore songs from around the world, or simply enjoy the feeling of singing with other people, I’d love you to join me.
We’ll learn songs by ear, discover easy vocal techniques, play with harmony and improvisation, and enjoy the kind of singing that leaves you feeling lighter than when you arrived. No auditions, no pressure, and absolutely no need to be an experienced singer—just bring yourself.

SPRING SING DERWENT VALLEY - OCT 3RD
I’m so excited to be travelling all the way from the Northern Rivers in NSW to beautiful Molesworth to spend a morning singing together.
If you’ve ever wanted to sing in harmony, try some gospel grooves, explore songs from around the world, or simply enjoy the feeling of singing with other people, I’d love you to join me.

THE SPRING SING RAFFLE!
I really wanted to feature an artist on my poster, instead of the dreaded “Thou we shall not mention -a-hem A.I. -a-hem”.
SO, I reached out to one of my favourite artists – Katie Alleva.
She creates these beautiful cyanotypes and I just adore their Spring, blue fresh deep colours.
SO – each ticket to the workshop puts you into the raffle to win an artwork.
And then I thought,
I cant just have one prize can I?
So I asked the Legend that is Adam at Resonator Music Ballina if he wanted to help me make another prize – so, there’s some Music Shop goodies to be won as well.
AND THEN I THOUGHT, RAFFLES HAVE THREE PRIZES RIGHT???
So I asked my lovely friend Tali at Ruby and Frank if we could raffle one of hear beautiful mugs. and she said yessssssssssssss
How awesome is that?!?!?!
I shall draw the raffle when all the workshops are done done, so, on about November 22nd, 2026.

Professor of Creativity
I started teaching Vocal Workshops at Summersong Music Camp in Lennox Head 2008. Alison Pearl took one look at me and said- you should lead a workshop. I remember teaching that first workshop and my head spinning in overwhelm, but as it came to and end I thought – I was Made to do this.
From then on it’s been a rollercoaster of singing and songwriting workshops.
