The Midnight Choir have worked with Mama Kin Spender and Ash Grunwald, under the direction of Janet Swain for some years, and then when we were offered to sing at The Mullumbimby Roots Festival Opening Night, Janet asked if anyone else would like to take the lead?
Heck Yeah, Janet! I will.
I sat back and through about the event. And really thought – I don’t want to sing covers. I want to write songs for the event. For Mullumbimby, For The Opening Night, For those people. For that Audience.
So, I composed a bunch of songs, and together with the choir, we chose the strongest songs and worked on them with all our heart and soul.
Our Performance was AWESOME to say the least.
