I feel a little bit like my head is a swizzle stick and I’m being stirred around a lemonade full of ice. All winter cold, bubbly and crazy with sugar.

The imminent release of “Where The Owl Was” draws closer. Crazy sugar. Somebody, Get me a brownie!

MONDAY June 11, 2012, will mark the day the album will be available to buy from the beautiful and wonderful, local and independent: Vitamin Records website. This date also initiates the moment from which I/we (Dan Brown) shall be doing a smattering of gigs as a duo, trio, quartet, and most likely larger band of awesome raggamuffins.

So far this delightful range of gigs includes:

Sunday JUNE 17th @ St Elmo, BYRON BAY. 3PM.

Friday JUNE 22nd @ Mandala Organic Arts Cafe, GOLD COAST. 8PM – $7 @ the Door.

Saturday JUNE 23rd @ Era Bistro, Southbank BRISBANE. 3.30PM

JULY – gigs to be announced in strange and wonderful places 🙂

Sunday AUGUST 5th @ By The River, BALLINA. 3PM – $5 @ the Door.

Tuesday AUGUST 14th @ The Rails, BYRON BAY. 6PM.

Sunday AUGUST 19th @ St Elmo, BYRON BAY. 3PM.

You’ll also get to hear the album played on Australia’s most easterly community radio station, Bay FM. 99.9. They also stream, so you can tune in anywhere, anytime!

There are more gigs on the way, so the best way to keep track on what’s happening near you is via Facebook or Reverbnation. Which ever one tickles your kitten.

A million thanks you’s to all the people who have been involved in this project!

It’s been awesome!

xx
