biography
Born in the river town of Ballina, NSW to a boating family; a hang gliding family, a family of flying and eccentric builders' hands.
Early singing lessons with a big sweaty smelling opera singer and a country/jazz lover and a passionate acapella choir teacher.
Bands at schools... wearing tutu's and singing in that pub they tore down.
Open mic nights and performing with ones dad is certainly character building....

Performing with 6 to 12 piece funk band 'Counterstroke', local- brisbane gigs 2000-2002. Part manager & lead vocals.

Private teaching in Vocal lessons at Hothouse Music Alstonville 2006 - present. Beautiful. my youngest student is 8 and my oldest is 65. Kids, mums, dads and granmas and granpas, AMEB CPM studies, come along and let it free.
Present- 2010:
Performing as co-lead vocalist with Sonia Leeson, my partner in crime, with Red Bantoo. 2009- Australian Tour. Big things planned for 2010. Currently recording album for release in 2010. Signed with Hydrofunk Records.
