My gosh, I am getting a lot of emails about singing lessons this term. It must be something in the water! Fantastic! However, I’m sorry to say that I am all booked up for this term at the moment. (I’m teaching a lot less than I used to, my little bubba is 19 months at the moment, and slowly life is creeping back to some kind of sanity… hahaha… what ever that means.) I am always happy to put you on my waiting list, so email me if you would like, but I just wanted to write a post about some other opportunities to sing around the Northern Rivers, and some other amazing singing teachers to track down.

First and foremost – You need to know about ‘The Happ’. The Happ is a Vocal group I am running on Monday Nights (EXCEPT the first monday of each month – bookclub has the hall) at Tintenbar Hall. At 6:30pm for a 6:45pm start, it’s only $10, it goes for about 1:45 hours. And it’s a group of beginners and advanced singers, working on harmony, music theory, scales, stage craft, nerves, projection, groove, time, syncopation, improvisation, smiling and having fun. It’s not a choir. It’s more like a group singing lesson. And it’s pretty darn fun. FIND OUT MORE.

If that’s not your cup of tea, here are some local singing teachers I either know personally, or have heard of. Sorry that’s a bit vague. We don’t have a regular monthly meeting or anything 🙂
